Harrison!

Cute pictures and video of Harrison. One day I will get both the kids together. Harrison had to stay still first! The first pictures are Harrison eating a powdered donut. He puts the whole thing in his mouth and somehow gets it all down. The next pictures are of Harrison playing in the washing machine. I just thought it was funny. The first video is just him being crazy and the second video is hime saying some cute things. Enjoy!!!

My new hobby

I have a new hobby....sewing! My mom generously bought me a fabulous new sewing machine and I am hooked. My goal is to make Kelsey her summer wardrobe. I have found that it is harder to pick up sewing when you haven't done it in about 15 years, but I have the basics down, now I just need practice. Here are two things I have made so far......
This is the first dress I made.
Above is a shirt that ties at the bottom. I am working on another dress now, but it is with a pattern and I forgot how hard it was to sow to a pattern, so it is taking me a little longer on that one. Wish me luck!

Valentine's Day

We had a nice Valentine's Day. I went to get a massage in the morning and ran a couple of fun errands and when I got back the kids and Shawn were playing outside in the backyard. We sat out there while the kids played until it was nap time. Then we kind of did nothing the rest of the day. We ordered a pizza and called it a night! I would say it was a pretty perfect Valentine's Day.

Kelsey and Harrison have thoroughly enjoyed their Valentine's packages from Emmy, Mimi, and Tessa. Thank you all very much for loving on my kids!

Weekend with the Smith's

This past weekend Matt, Julie, Kennedy, and Cambry Smith came to visit us. We were so excited to have them. I really wanted to take them to do something "Arkansas-ish" but the weather wasn't really that great to spend a lot of time outside. They got to our house about dinner time on Friday, so we really just ate and hung out and went to bed. Then, on Saturday we went to Playtime Pizza and had lunch and played some games. Sunday, we went to Bosco's in the River Market on the Arkansas River. It was a very pleasant lunch with four kids. There was a jazz brunch so they got entertained. That night was the Super Bowl, so we had "football food" and "drinks". Matt and Julie decided to leave later on that night to go ahead and get home so they could have a normal day the next day. We had a great visit and loved having them all. Thanks for coming Matt, Julie, Kennedy, and Cambry, you're welcome back anytime!!! (and that goes for the rest of you reading this!)
